Drop me a note or email deathbycanon@dcartphoto.com for full rez non water marked file.

My stock images will be LOW res and water marked. If you want a high res image with no water mark you will have to email or note me. Give me a link to your DA account and a link to the image you want to use. WHY?? Because DA is full of RIPers and pervs. I want proof you are actually an artist that can work an image before I hand you over a full res image of one of my children.

In return for using my image I would like a link to the finished art work so I can :+fav: it. I would also like a file of the work. WHY?? Because I can't afford to buy DA prints of each piece of art my children are in. BUT I am a pro photog and have a pro lab. I have one 8x10 printed of every art work my children are in and if the kids really like them I may do a large one - poster sized - for their room.

After I get a file I will send you a signed photo and model release that will give you full rights to use my image and the kids likeness in that piece of art.

Sooooo I am going to start with the old stuff. Really old stuff. Most of it is over 2 years old. New stuff will be added as I get time. Requests are welcome.

This is such a beautiful stock image. I think it is a masterpiece itself! :)

The whole serie is just wonderful. Thanks for al these beautiful stock pictures.
Thank you. I took these almost two years ago and I only kept two from this whole set for printing. [link] and [link]

It was a shame that the rest should go to waist.

Funny I started taking photos so I could do photo manips. Before I learned how I was swamped with people asking me to take their photos. Now I run a full time studio with no time to learn. This way I can still enjoy the art and coming up with new stock for the manips will help me keep from being burned out taking the money shots. :)
Heya!

You have been daily featured here [link] :)

Many thanks for the wonderful stock :alphaosiris:

Wish I could work with you, your lighting control in phenominal the back drops and props are uber. I hope one day to get this kind of dynamicism out of my photos.
Thank you! I think I was using the 4x6 larson softbox for these. That box has beautiful light. I wish I could do more lighting like this for clients but they always gripe that half their face is dark. :)
bah, quater lighting and half lighting is always the best IMO. Sighs, but no account for poor taste a plenty. I thank you kindly for the heads up. I see the softbox is up for around 594$ Did you find any particular light that went well with this diffuser? Sorry im asking so many techinical questions, but the closest i could find on lighting was more hollywoodesk lighting with key/fill/backlights while i am personally looking for something alot more soft and tame. If you have any book titles to through my way, id appreciate it.
Here is the link to larson: [link] The soft box is shallower then most soft boxes. We meaning everyone I know that shoots with this box - pull the diffuser panel on the inside out of the box. It is EXTREMELY soft light.

I just use alien bees with this. I have an 800 on the 4x6. When I bought my bees I was just starting and broke. :) If I had it to do again I would buy the white lighting - made by the same comp as the bees or photogenics.(sp?) Mostly because you can have a higher powered modeling light inside and get smaller pupils, which gives more color in the eye.

If you already know the basics and want pro material I would buy straight from the pros. The prices are WAY higher but the details are usually more specific.

If you get a larson 4x6 then Darton Drake's Cd [link] - lighting volume one, is a must have! That man is a lighting god with that 4x6! The price is steep but if you spend money on pro equipment you should know how to use it to it's best! :)

Fuzzy Duenkel is another big lighting name: [link] - I haven't seen his book but a lot of pros buy it at convention.

I learned a lot though forums:

I think [link] still has a free side.

[link] is a paid sight - I haven't been here but many of my friends are.

[link] - another paid sight - more expensive now - but wasn't when I started. :)
Its a great deal 169$ for 17 cd's of information. Long before i was into art ,biophysics and parapsychology were my main intrests. Enigmas and rare knowlege was always a premium, and more then a few times i had to pony up a few hundred and wait three years for enough people to invest in a book that i wanted to get a reprint of. What was way sexy is you can actually pay 70$ for a crtiique of 20 photos. Which I am way happy to to see. In a year or two when i actually have something to show, i wont be stuck at just entry level art college course for crtique. Which is alright when you need encouragement. But I dont want to be just an ok artist, one day Id like to be great. In the mean time I got alot of saving to do. Maybe I can make a little cash on the side taking pictures of people with there pets to afford some study quality lighting =)
I realy appreciate the vast wealth of knowledge youve pointed me towards and the time youve take. Thank you!!
very very much for your time.
